Belmont Ave Apartment Fire

Approximately 4:15 this afternoon Five Points was dispatched to a reported house fire on Belmont Ave.   Crews arrived to find fire showing from the third floor of the apartment building.  Five Points was assisted by Minquas, Elsmere, Cranston Heights Fire Company, Minquadale Fire Company, Station 22, Mill Creek, Belvedere, Wilmington Manor, St. Francis EMS, and Ncc Paramedics.  No residents reported injury and one fire fighter was transported with a minor injury.  Cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office.
