Ladder Assist Minquas

This morning around 4:20am, Ladder 17 was alerted to assist Minquas Fire Company with a commercial structure fire in the 500 block of First State Blvd. 
Engine 23 arrived to find a fire in a chemical work area that was being controlled by the sprinkler system. Ladder 17 took first due special service, performed the primary search then assisted with ventilation of the building. 
Due to chemicals being present, everyone working inside the building was decontaminated by the New Castle County Haz Mat teams on site.
